Twin brothers Mason and Maddox Synder won the 12U national title July 21 at the USA National Beach Tour Junior Beach National Championships. The three-day tournament took place at Siesta Key Beach in Siesta Key, Florida.

The Snyder brothers — the sons of Stow-Munroe Falls boys volleyball director Matt Snyder — represented Elite Sports Ohio in the tournament and were able to go 3-1 in pool play over the first two days of the tournament.

Given the No. 2 seed in the bracket finals, the Snyder boys opened with a dominant 21-12, 21-6 win over Luke Schall and Thomas Thoman of the Rockwood Thunder out of Missouri. 

The victory sends the Snyders to the final against top-seeded Ryder Barrett and Caleb Kidder of Lafayette, Louisiana, who were the only team to defeat the Snyders during pool play.
