Tryout Information

  • The tryout cost is $25
  • Only one tryout is necessary.

The purpose of tryouts at ESO is to assess an individual player’s abilities to place the player on the appropriate level team so they may have fun, improve and excel during the upcoming volleyball season.

To accomplish this goal, our top-level coaches evaluate players as they participate in drills designed to test their basic volleyball skills. Players are evaluated by multiple coaches throughout the course of the tryout session, the coaches then work together on the team placement process.

After Tryouts

  • All tryout participants will receive a letter when leaving the tryout with the level of program  from their Age Group Coordinator.
  • To officially accept this position,  go online and fill out acceptance form and pay your Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable Deposit ($200 for all Programs)
  • After acceptance, athletes will take place in an official team placement with accepted athletes and pre-committed athletes. You always have the opportunity to move up program levels at team placements.
